Here are some of the most common questions I get about working together.

  • My office is located in Flower Mound at Parker Square. The parking lot is shared with the NCTC Flower Mound campus.

  • You will receive a link via email to access the video meeting 24 hours prior to the session, and again 15 minutes before the session. Please plan to join the session from a private, safe place.

  • Absolutely! :)

  • I am an Out of Network provider with all insurances which means I do not bill any insurances. I can provide you with monthly paperwork (called a Superbill) which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

    You are responsible for contacting your insurance to explore your plan benefits and then submitting claims to your insurance for reimbursement.

    To determine if you have mental health coverage through your insurance carrier, the first thing you should do is call member services. Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand their answers.

  • Do I have a mental or behavioral health policy with out of network benefits?

    What is the coverage amount per therapy sessions?

    How much does my insurance pay for an out of network provider?

    Check reimbursement for CPT codes 90837, 90846 and 90847

    Do I have an out of network deductible?

    How much of my out of network deductible has been met?

    What is the start date of the calendar year my out of network policy is based on?

    What is my patient responsibility (CoPay) for each session?

  • The first session is a time to discuss your goals for counseling. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about counseling.

  • This answer depends largely on your goals for counseling and what you need help navigating. I recommend starting with weekly sessions to work towards your goals more quickly, and then reducing to biweekly or as needed sessions when you feel ready.
